Quentin Goodin leaves Hoop Dreams to go play with Indiana Elite (Adidas Sponsored). Hoop Dreams has suffered the loss of several players throughout this AAU season in various age groups with the most recent being Goodin.... I don't believe anyone would say that they were surprised to see this coming especially after the events that took place prior to the State AAU Tournament... I hate to see the combo of him and Wright broken up, but at the end of the day, parents have to do what's best for their kids. Thoughts?

He never actually played for Manimal or the Travelers.... From my understanding, they were frustrated with how things were being handled logistically with Hoop Dreams... Not sure how much truth there is to that, but this is not the first time I have heard that in regards to HD...

We should probably just shut the program down. Now that we're down to 2 top 100 kids in 2016, 1 Top 100 kid in 2017 and only have the Prep Hoops Kentucky Freshman of the year.

 

Every AAU team has kids move. Last year the Travelers lost Ray Spalding to The Ville at about the same time.

 

Movement happens. It's part of the business. Coach Doubletake you should know this as well as anyone. You've been doing AAU for a little while and we've recruited the same kids over the last 2 years.

If logistics is the issue, the travel time with IE won't be much better, if at all.
