It does get real interesting IMO when he gets into the specifics of Beverly Hills. I may re-read it. It hits home with me because my dad was up there that night pulling people out giving them mouth to mouth. He has some incredible stories of that night... littleluck55 Posted May 6, 2015 Share Posted May 6, 2015 A couple other good books about Newport back in the day, "Syndicate Wife" by Hank Messick and "Razzle Dazzle" by Hank Messick also. Hank Messick was also a reporter for the Courier Journal. I have collected almost every illegal poker/casino chip from the old casinos in Newport and Covington.
