April 15, 201511 yr I guess just another of many lies and deceptions. While campaigning for president in 2008, Obama stated that “as president I will recognize the Armenian Genocide.” Furthermore, he claimed: “America deserves a leader who speaks truthfully about the Armenian Genocide and responds forcefully to all genocides. I intend to be that president.” Read more at Obama breaks vow to recognize Armenian genocide
April 15, 201511 yr From right below the lede: "Lawmakers from both parties have called on Obama to fulfill his campaign pledge by attending a memorial in the Armenian capital of Yerevan April 24. The president has not responded." This is serious? We're now going to break down everything the president hasn't called a press conference about? In the end, whether he wants to recognize it or not, he's not sticking fingers in anyone's eyes right now. He needs Turkey in a coalition to help fight ISIS and unless we're thinking about putting troops down over there, we need other people to do it. Turkey doesn't really want to but will since ISIS has no intention of letting Turkey survive long-term. Since we'd rather have them in this fight now rather than later, he'll do his best not to poke anyone. Edited April 15, 201511 yr by Getslow

But maybe that's because it is so readily apparent.

Why wont he, why cant he just bring himself to say Turkey did this. He sure has time for a press conference to condemn the Crusades.
