March 17, 201511 yr Haven't fished it in years. I can't seem to go anywhere but Cumberland. But this weekend I'm considering fishing Dale some. I have a friend I fish with that has a houseboat at Wisdom dock and his contact says the smallmouth bite is turning on, so I'm gonna give it a shot. I may, in the middle of the day, say well I've had enough of this lake and pack it in and head to Grider Hill, ha. So, any of you fish it with any regularity? Any tips, advice? Gonna try a swim jig with a slim profile trailer to start, and that's about all the plan I have currently.
March 18, 201511 yr Take the clubs, if you find time, the Dale Hollow State Park course is a hidden jewel. One of my favorites. Don't know if you will be in Tennessee or Kentucky part because those places are not familiar to me.

March 19, 201511 yr Author I'd say fish 20'-25' deep flats, and bounce that swim jig off the bottom. I may cheat and pitch some alewives into that 25feet water. Bait is bountiful in our bait hole.
March 22, 201511 yr Author Fished Dale Friday. Went to Cumberland Saturday. Caught one fish Friday. Caught the poo out of them on Saturday. Caught a 31" stripe and a 21" 5lb fat smallie. Great day.
