First time since 1987 that the Mason county lady royals have made it to state tournament they face Muhlenberg county on Thursday March 12th at 1:30PM.

I don't know anything on Muhlenberg county but I predict a good one.

Who wins and why?

In the Cantrell ratings of the 16 teams, Mason Co is #13 and Muhlenberg is #14. So I predict a close game. Sure hope Mason Co wins and advances.

There is a VERY real chance that Mason will be playing on Saturday. They keep up the level of play I saw this past weekend and they will be there for sure.

I agree.

Mason better bring their Defensive A game. Muhlenberg can really shoot the ball and if you can't guard the perimeter you may be in for a long game. I think both teams match up well and Cantrell's ratings are dead on so I think this one will come down to who makes the most plays at the end.

Sounds good for the smaller Mason County players. Hopefully the Lady Royals play to their potential and show everyone what they're all about.
