Yet again, Anderson County and Simon Kenton meet in the finals. Third year in a row and sixth time in the last eight years.

 

Anderson - runner-up in the 30th - needed a miracle in the first round against Trimble County and advanced on to the final with an overtime win over Walton-Verona.

 

Simon Kenton had a bit of an easier time in the first round against Oldham County, but then had to survive a nail-biter against the region co-favorite, Shelby County, by four points in the semi-finals.

 

How does this one look to you?

 

Anderson trying to defend its title. SK trying to erase the sting of last year's come-from-ahead defeat in the finals.

Anderson was most poised team in the semis yesterday. SK should win but needs to play not so rattled.
