Don't count Wayne out just because Woods graduates. I've been watching this program since the late 90s and when you think they are gonna be down after a very good player graduates someone else steps up. They have proved me wrong time and time again.

Wayne also dropped a big L last year in the first round at Rupp. Talk about not performing under the bright lights.

I said Wayne will be in the mix. They have 2 really nice players coming back and are a perennial power in the 12th. But they aren't favored/don't win it every year. And that's kind of where I think they find themselves next year. No disrespect meant to the Wayne program. Just my opinion.

 

On another note, what's the latest on Woods' recruitment? I would have to think he will have some decent options.

I agree Black Jack, was the most dissapointing performance last year. The fans and players both got caught up in predictions of how we were big favorites over Mccracken Co and it backfired. I thought ever since that game if we had drawn another region, in which we were not suppose to win or slight favorites, it may have been different. I know it certainly was not Coaches fault because i haved watched Coach Woods and his staff for 29 years and he will prepare his teams but still Young Men can get caught up in the hype just like us fans and some time it will bite you.
