Wow just learned that Dailey from Bourbon Co. transfered to Woodford County and Harrison County's pitcher is now at Scott County. What's the scoop?:sssh:

Florida State transfer a staff member ?

Bourbon County`s Dailey did transfer to Woodford Co. Harrison County did not have any pitchers to transfer, they did have another player transfer to Scott Co., but not any of their pitchers. Harrison County will probably have 2 of the top 3 pitchers in the Region this year and have the luxury of having them back the following year. I saw the TruRank top teams for 10th Region, that is way off. Bourbon Co is nowhere near the #1 team in the Region, they will be lucky to finish 4th or 5th at best. Bourbon has a couple of nice players, but NO pitching! I think Harrison Co and Clark Co are 1a and 1b in the Region followed by Montgomery Co and Brossart. Harrison Co is loaded with hitters this year and with the help of a couple of transfers will solidify their team.

And the reason for Dailey leaving Bourbon Co is that they were not happy with the coaching of Bourbon Co. Bourbon had the talent to win the Region for the last 3 years and couldn't do it. You cant constantly degrade your girls and expect to get results. Always a lot of turmoil and drama in the Bourbon Co organization. Also head coach talks bad about all the other 10th Region teams and coaches. The information I gave you come from some of the players that have played at Bourbon Co. in the last couple years. Just want to wish all the teams good luck and hopefully we can get to see some softball in the near future.

This may have been the reason given...in the end of these issues it is often the parental perspective of their DD and what they believe is going to happen at the next level. Not everyone, regardless of what you believe as a parent, is a D1 player.

Interesting that when you look at the Woodford Coaching staff it is very young overall...and I don't see a lot of Regional or State championships listed as accolades .....hmmm

How would you rate the young Woodford County team now? I think they have showed they are one of the best in the state. They are rated #5 in the state and they have beat Scott co #3 and Mercy #4 . Looks like they have been over looked ?

I see you're back, and haven't changed a bit...no where on this thread did anyone say anything about ranking Woodford County, this thread was about transfers and the only comment made about Woodford was their staff did not have a long list of softball achievements.

Keep in mind that Scott County and Mercy don't always throw their No. 1. In the last, I don't know, let's just say bunch, of years, Mercy and Scott County are at state despite an OK start. Don't get your hopes up in Versailles.

So is this Dailey kid getting a better education at her new school? After all, why do kids go to HS? Sports or academics?

At the end of the day, regardless of whatever kind of season any team has, it can come down to 1 game. Anyone's game. I think Scott and Woodford the last couple years have played close games at region. I know last year even though it was a first round game that was the only close game Scott had to get to state. None of this really matters until May.

Wow. Throwing lots of shade on the Bourbon Co. staff based on what looks to be just hearsay. Would love to hear a rebuttal.
