Only meant in good fun, sorry if it offended. Im friends with Coach Clink and wish the Bearcats well. By the way Mrs. Ison is one of my daughters favorite teachers. As to your question, I think that athleticism helps you create some shots.

Give me a group of girls that are unselfish and play their butts off and I could care less if they could jump over a credit card, your gonna win more times than not! Having trouble getting my daughter playing full tilt every game. No problem against the rivalries, but were struggling right now. Funny story to tell ya, my daughter had a good game before we played Walton and I asked her if she told Mrs. Ison how good she did and she said no she might give them a scouting report! Lol!

The bolded....EXACTLY! And to keep the thread on par, that describes NCC.

 

And your comment about the struggle to play hard has been an issue for Walton at times this year also...a much bigger issue than athleticism. They are athletic enough. I don't care what anyone says, they just haven't always been "tenacious enough" as you have to be to win consistently with as many road games out of their region they have had.

 

Walton brought good energy against NCC. I thought it was enough. They just caught NCC on one of their good shooting nights. (And it didn't help that Walton couldn't get to the free throw line late in the third and through the key part of the fourth)

 

And that is a funny story about your daughter and Mrs Ison. That was smart of her to keep it zipped, it obviously worked.

If I am not mistaken, I believe one of the refs in the game was Michael Romes and he calls a nice game and anyone that knows me on here knows how I feel about officiating so you know he must be pretty good to get a compliment from me.
