I only watched him once last season and in defeat he still looked like a very nice QB.

 

At 6-3 190(I believe) he has the size.

I talked to local college ast. coach and he likes him a lot.

Art has all of the intangibles. He is very intelligent, great leadership skills, and he understands the game. He is very accurate and has great touch on the ball. His arm strength might be a little suspect though. I could see him being very good at the NAIA or DIII level.

Gets Sacked alot. But he can sling it.

A big part of the equation for how good Walker can be will be how effective his receivers are. Didn't they lose a few solid WR's last year? I may be mistaken, but I thought they had quite a few Seniors out there.

The Ast. College coach I spoke to is a D-3 coach.

Having a supporting cast has been hampering Montgomery County for the past several years. They have high numbers in youth and middle school, but the kids don't continue to play in high school for some reason. Many of those that don't play had the potential to start or contribute in a major way. Hopefully more of those kids will stay out and they can be more competitive.
