I haven't measured him my old fashioned way. I have looked him in the eye while he was in his basketball shoes and that serves as a good gauge for me.

 

Hey, I wish Aaron was 6'4" as he is listed in Rivals.com, but he isn't............not even close. That could make a difference in his recruitment.

I heard Cutler talking to Meeks coach on wlap and he said he was 6-4 with his shoes on because they have always measured the kids that way because they played in their shoes.I was told by a reliable source Dunaway is just short of 6-3 with his shoes on. I was also told he has been offered by 3 D-1 schools and several smaller schools. I was told Aaron really likes a nice D-2 school that is fairly close to home. I have watched him for 6 years and I think he can play D-1 at the low to mid range. I don't think he can play high D- 1. The other day on the Joe and Denny show they were talking about him and coach Hall said he thought he can play D-1. I have to respect his opinion more then anyones on this board. You did answer my question that you have not measured him so I 'll take you really don't know exactly how tall he is.

Don't get me wrong.....I love the kid. I was talking to a former teammate of Aaron's the other day and I told him I feel he is one of the most unique players I have seen play high school ball in Kentucky. He does so many things well. But he is not getting a lot of interest at the Division I level. Why? I think he might be caught in the Chris Lofton mode in that college coaches are questioning his speed, quickness, and height as to how he will project on the next level.

 

You would think that a good player from the state of Kentucky who started varsity ball for five years, scored over 2000 career points, played in arguably the toughest region in the state, played for winning programs would have numerous interest from Division I schools. But he is not getting that kind of interest.

Just under 6'3" in shoes is probably 6'1" in my old fashion way of measuring height so we are probably in agreement as to how tall he is.
