Can someone give us dates and times of upcoming games? Haven't seen a schedule anywhere. Is it Pikeville vs. Paintsville and Allen Central vs. Sheldon Clark in the semis? Just a guess. When are the semis going to be played and when is the final??? Thanks in advance for any info.:thumb:

P-burg should participate in this tournament since some of the other AA schools compete. It would be some good experience for the kids, if nothing else. :thumb: They always need the work. ;)

P'burg would get throttled in this tourney, they would be better off elsewhere where they could compete...did they let the guys who went on spring break come back???

I have no doubt about the strength of competition, knowing who's in it, but the only way the Blackcats will get better is by playing the competition, even knowing that the odds would be long! And I know one who is back, and on the team, but I don't know if he's even been in for one out. I haven't asked either in the morning or evening. I have, however, given him my opinion. It's just not anything I'm involved with, nor been involved with since about this time last year. :thumb:

The coach created a big problem last year, and is now having to live with it! Not good for him or the program...but you know this...:thumb:

Yes, unfortunately. And I hope it didn't create an impression that one, in particular, is still attempting to deal with. No coach should be in a position that creates a situation that leaves a player, no matter how mature, wondering how a proper scenario would have worked out.

If the kid left and went on vacation let it go.

Especially for an athlete who has played 4 years of high school football and basketball beginning as a freshman and who decides, as a senior, it's time to get away for the week the school determined as the spring break that just happened to fall at the beginning of the baseball season! :irked: And this particular athlete was one who everyone knew was a team player in everything he participated in. :thumb: I can think of very few reasons for such a reaction from the coach. :sssh:

Sorry O-Line, I am on the coaches side here. I dont care if it were my son.

More took off on this break, Buck, and I understand that one of those was the coach's son. This is only to give you an example of the methods used, or not used, whatever the case may be.

If this is true the coach should be fired. That is awful. Coaches son or not the rules should be the same.
