You said Morgan county would really be in trouble without Holden Redparth. I don't get what the purpose of this conversation is. Holden Redparth is a great kid with unlimited potential. Where he is from is irrelevant. What part of the county he is from is irrelevant. It's very obvious that people are trying to stir the pot.

I get what the purpose is. Some don't like that a kid transferred in to play at Morgan county. Just like all of the complaints when Morgan county was getting all of their foreign exchange students. Some are trying to stir the pot. The bottom line is the kid has been ruled eligible to play by the KHSAA and is eligible to play as he has been all year. So there is really nothing that anyone can say or do but to complain about it. He is a very skilled player and as a basketball fan we should be supporting these kids that choose to play high school athletics regardless of what states or country they are from.

I miss read,, I think Redparth is a really good player, I think better than Perry. He plays good D, rebounds, and scores on a lot less shots. and stirring the pot or not, its strange how basketball players keep ending up in Morgan CO., just saying. I hope the kid does well, not a hater.

I agree Redparth is a great player too and I love his game. But to say better than Perry??? Perry is the 4th leading scorer in the state. Perry is averaging 26 ppg, while shooting over 47% from the field. As a guard that is a very good fg%. Perry 26 ppg, Redparth 16 ppg. Perry 47 fg% and Redparth 40 fg%. Redparth averages 7.8 Rpg with Perry at 3.6 rpg. Redparth is a great defender, rebounder, and shot blocker. But Perry is not only the man on the Cougars, but the man in the 16th region. If he were in some of the bigger regions with the Lexington, Louisville, and NKy schools people would be talking about him more. And he is only a junior. Hard to say there is a better player on a team when that kid will more than likely end up being the 5th or higher all time leading scorer in ky boys history. I rest my case.....

Where did you get fg %? What I seen on the one list, seemed lower than that. I'll check that,

First he is good, but if you look at the games when they played better teams , his numbers are not as good. The Bath Co games and some others have really helped . He gets a lot of layups in those games.

Its because against Rowan, Elliott and some of those teams he gets double teamed every time he touches the ball. And when he plays against the Bath, Lee, Russell type of teams he does all of that in 2 1/2 quarters. The boy is good. And is a good all around kid. He works his butt off and has since he was old enough to dribble a ball.

I sure he is a good kid, and to do what he does I know he has worked hard. im not going personal on him. Just debating his game. All players have flaw`s. And I`m just giving my opinion of the 3 or 4 times I`ve seen him play.
