Mustangs will face the Augusta/Paris winner in the championship on Saturday.

Mustangs keep rolling. It's my belief that it's going to take a physical team to knock off the Stangs. They shoot the ball extremely well and are so patient on offense. They can run all over the gym. While they have a lot of height there's not a lot of size. A big solid athletic team that can get physical may give Brossart fits. In which that would be if the refs "let them play".

 

None the less Brossart is just one win away from another trip to the All A state tournament.

For the thrid straight 10th Region "A" game tHe Brossart JVs played the entire final period, two of those were under the running clock. The other ended wth a running clock.

 

Robertson County was big and thick. They need to consider football. Brossart simply had too many weapons on this night, with 8 players denting the scoring column and three of those with double-figures. Jackson Crawford led all scorers with 20,

Jon Zink added 16, and Jacob Zai contributed 12 Only three Black Devils put up numbers - Dawson Cooper with 16, Mason Burden with 9, and Myles Murphy with 2.

 

The Mustangs led 17-8, 38-12, 58-20 at the quarter stops and a final of 68-27. Mustangs 12 of 14 from the charity stripe, while Robertson County visited 13 times and connected on 5. The Mustangs improve to 9-6 on the season. Robertson County falls to 5-8.

 

With the win the Mustangs punch their ticket to Saturday night's Boys Championship game versus the winner of tomorrow night's Augusta-Paris lower bracket semi-finals game.
