With USF running backs coach Telly Lockette joining the staff at Oregan State, Willie Taggart has hired Autry Denson, RB coach from Miami of Ohio, as his replacement.

Set the all time rushing record at ND, 4,318 yards. Scored 43 TDs and was named team MVP twice.

 

I was wondering what kind of running backs coach he was at MU. I didn't follow the Redhawks last year. I know there are a few fans on here.

Denson was considered a big improvement in the running back coaching position at MU compared to what they've had in the past 3 to 4 years. It's hard to tell how good Denson really was after being there for only one year, but I did see improvements in the running backs reads and efforts to gain the extra yard.
