Think it will be more of a confidence builder for Mason than GRC.

Mason was up five with about two minutes to go but as the games last year only scored one point the rest of the way. Mason with a couple of crucial mistakes at the end. Everyone in the gym knew where the ball was going at the end but Clark made a perfect lob pass to Skinner for the win. Maybe there will be a re-match in March.

It was a really good ballgame with a very decent crowd given UK was playing at the time.

As many know, I'm not much of a girls' basketball fan. No disrespect at all to the girls who play but it's just not my thing.

 

That being said, it will be interesting to watch how Mason County - a sophomore-laden squad - develops over the next two and a half years.

Skinner scored the last 5 or 6 points for the Cards today. She is hard to stop.
