Do i agree with what he said? I don't know.

 

Do i think he shouldn't have said it? Probably, but it was his right.

 

Do i think that we're worrying too much about this, when the focus is on the girls and their seasons? Absolutely.

As a member of this media that Coach Haile has been so "clueless" in talking to, i take extreme exception with your characterization of him. He has been one of the classiest guys i have ever dealt with in this business. I would not have said what he did, but to paint him with a broad brush because he made one comment is...what's the word i'm looking for here? Oh yeah! "Clueless." I think that was it.

 

 

OK, then why did he say what he did, if he is such an outstanding,

stand up guy? Did he apologize for the comment later on to anyone in the media? If he has, I haven't seen/read it......The comment was a classless statement, made by a Coach who if your comments are correct, knew very well what he was saying, and IMHO that is even worse then if he were cluesless......

 

Actually this whole event is sorta funny as I dislike LexCath, as they beat both the football team I like and both basketball teams I like also, but a tasteless comment made by a Coach to the media is still a tasteless comment, and unless he apologizes for it then he deservers the flack he receives because of it...

Don't you guys just love it we get together and just argue about sports. Man this is fun i should sign on more often."Note the small bit of sarcasm".

He didn't say anything personal about any other coach or player.

I was wondering the same thing. All i know is that it's taking away from the great seasons for both of these schools.
