Over the course of last season, there was a lot of debate about which region was superior, and with the strength of each region being close again this season, I thought it'd be fun for us to talk about it here.

Since the season isn't underway yet, what games between 11th and 12th Region teams are going to be the ones that you look to for validity in making your argument about which region is stronger?

Boyle County plays Lexington Christian, Dunbar and Lafayette in the regular season. Boyle County will also face Bryan Station in the Republic Bank Classic. I know LexCath is in the Republic Bank Classic but whether or not Boyle will face them remains to be seen.

Lincoln County will face Lafayette twice, LexCath and Madison Central.

Wayne County plays LexCath in their last regular season game.

Southwestern will face Madison Central.

Mercer County will face Franklin County and Woodford County.

Boyle County and Lincoln County have the most impressive overall schedules out of the top 5 teams in the 12th Region that I have seen. Lincoln County has the toughest schedule IMO.

West Jessamine, who has a former 11th region coach, faces Franklin County, LCA, Madison Central, Madison Southern, and Woodford County. West has produced some great games against 11th region opponents in recent history.

Dunbar also plays Lincoln County late in the year at an event at Southwestern. Looking forward to all the games with 12tg region opponents this season. Always hard fought battles.

Lincoln County beat Lafayette tonight.

Lincoln County beat Lafayette tonight.

How'd that one go? I've been slammed at work and coming home to moving to a new place for the past few days so I've been a bit out of the loop.

Lafayette couldn't guard Timmy and they lost as a result.
