Again, like I said previously. I stated a fact, not ripping them or any particular individual. Anyone who would watch this team would say the same.

I'm crystal clear on what you said - you said their DB group was terrible. Why don't you go to the school, on the practice field, in front of their coach - and tell them that.

 

Let's be clear - I am not a NCC guy. I root for another proud Catholic football program in NKY. I root for you from afar and I really respect your program - and all that support it. Good luck to you and NCC - I just think the post was too close to home.

I said their secondary is bad. That doesn't exclusively include DB's (can include a multitude of things). This could include responsibility across the board (also constructive criticism is a thing, you can't just sugarcoat everything to improve). I seriously do not see how I'm in the wrong in stating that, but alright. Many people have over the course of the season, not just myself, even on here. But I'll drop it here.

You are not wrong, just very good observation and have the guys to say what others are thinking. It's another sign of pampering everyone. And you can't improve when everyone is saying good job, when in fact it was not a good job.

Then refer to it as Pass Defense - includes pass rush, LBs blitzing and/or covering their portion of the field/receiver if they're in man. In EVERY football player's vocabulary, secondary means DBs.
