Sweet 16: Paul Laurence Dunbar against St Henry Predictions

Featured Replies

At least that is what is on KHSAA website.

Just called St H and the office said only preschoolers are free not 10 and under. I told her the KHSAA site says 10 and under are free and she said that isn't what they were told. That will keep me away. My 9 year old won't sit and watch the game and i can't leave him home alone so we won't be going.

At least the St. Henry fans don't have to travel 2+ hours and then fork over the $10! Good Luck tonight Cru!

That is going to lead to a lot of hassle at the gate tonight! It's ridiculous charging children $10!

Who did you talk to?

The KHSAA directions are very clear. Print off the paper and bring it with you. Do not sit at home because your kid can't watch for free if he's under 10. They will let you in, no issues.

Enjoy the game! Rain has blown out and it will be a BEAUTIFUL night for soccer.

Z89 posted about calling the school office, not me.

I called the main number on the school website. I would assume it was an admin. Maybe after i told her the website said 10 and under she made a call to confirm. That's good for me at least. it's a shame that people that don't have access to this site or know to check the KHSAA site still think it's $10 for everyone at least at St Henry because that is what we were told in all communications even the school website front page says it. Thanks for checking and letting us know.

Not a problem. Would just hate to see the crowd lessened because of a misunderstanding in ticket prices. The website says "Students" are $10. One would assume that is meant as "High School Students", not elementary students. However, a bit of clarity would have been nice with a simple "(Everyone 10 years old and younger admitted FREE!)" after the details.

Enjoy the game everyone!!
