Knights of Lexington Catholic finish district play 4-0 and lock up the #1 seed. Once the running clock was in play LexCath took their foot off the gas.

 

Senior Reese Ryan - 13 for 16 last night.

 

 

 

Junior Jaylen Jones rushed for 108 yards and 3 TDs.

Opening up the hole is Junior Colin Carpenter , Junior Noah Tubridy and Senior Domic Castlen.

 

 

 

 

Junior Donovan Morris pulls in one of 2 TD pass receptions of the night.

Reese Ryan moved into the top 4 all-time in passing yards at LexCath last night. Barring an injury he will easily pass former teammate Kyle Bolin (If Bolin hadn't have gotten hurt he'd probably have the record) for 3rd all time and has a very good chance to end up 2nd all-time in yardage. Outside chance at #1 but that would take a state championship run and a really high level of play in all 6 games that he would play in.

 

Reese has had a great career at LexCath and will make some college coach very happy at the next level. If he keeps up his completion percentage he is on pace to shatter the single season completion percentage. He is also on pace for a couple more LexCath records as well.

 

Junior Jaylen Jones moved into the top 10 all-time in the LexCath rushing yardage category. That is with him missing his entire sophomore season with injury. Jaylen is on pace to shatter the single season yardage record for LexCath if they make it to the Regional final this season (which I would be shocked if they didn't).

 

Also just want to add that I love our Black top, white pants look. My favorite one that LexCath has.

Congrats to Reese and the entire offense. I really think this is the best offense LC has had. When you look at the weapons they have its pretty tough to stop. With the defense now healthy it's time to take that next step and try to knock off the bully on our block in Highlands. Good Luck Knights
