Henry Clay travels to Scott County to take on the #3 ranked 6A Cardinals.

Personally I'm taking the Cardinals but think it will be a great game. The Blue Devils of Henry Clay started off with a clunker at Belfry but have put up huge numbers offensively the rest of the season. They have as much speed as anyone and have utilized it on the ground this season.

 

Both Scott County and Clay boast close wins against Lafayette. Scott County's win was a 4 pointer that was called with 4 minutes to go in the game in the first week of the season. Henry Clay managed a 9 point victory in a game that came down to the last minutes.

 

I pick Scott County for 2 reasons. 1. I think that Henry Clay will be too one-dimensional.

2. Scott County has won like 23 straight games versus Fayette County public schools, I think there will be a mental block there for Henry Clay and they might be too tight for this game.

Torn on this one. I told myself I was going to pick Henry Clay and then couldn't pull the trigger in the Pick10 contest. I too think it'll be close.

I think the Cardinals prove that they are still a force to be reckoned with; I think they will win big.

 

I wouldn't mind taking a trip to Georgetown to see it; will see how the rest of the week goes.
