With the weekly rankings coming out today could somebody tell me how the rankings are developed?

It is an art and a science. Not a pure vote. We analyze, defend, debate, etc.

 

And I will add, it has been a very successful formula for numerous years because several times in the past we have compared our final results to all the others out there and we are either at or near the top.

I think at the start of the year there may be a little truth to that, but by the time district play begins the BGP rankings are usually spot on.
