LRCW Posted September 20, 2014 Posted September 20, 2014 Trying to stay positive for our Cat fan from the Central time zone. Ashland didn't get their white uniforms dirty because Ironton has a brand new turf field.

But that next week with district play everyone is going to study that game film and see what it takes to take the district kings off the rocker. Going to be a long district play.
Backspin Posted September 22, 2014 Posted September 22, 2014 I had a chance to watch this game on film. Ironton had their way with the Ashland offensive and defensive linemen. I also did not understand why the defensive scheme was to utilize their best linebacker to try and eat up the center and fullback blocks. I do think that Coach was right by stating they should keep things simple. Ashland is just overmatched on the line of scrimmage right now on both sides of the football.
