I believe this was Dressman's first action on the field this year. Great to see. Don't know if he touched the ball.

A long road trip for the Henderson folks.

5 TD passes for Wags

For a school the size of Henderson Co, an awful lot of kids were playing on both sides of the ball.

They ran out of gas....

I would say the pick in the 3rd quarter when they were moving the ball completely changed the flow of the game.

That's why henderson can't win the big games they run out of gas in late in third!!

You are probably right on the stamina of Hendo but if I remember right one of their TDs in the 1st half was a pick 6 and another on a fumble. The final score seems about accurate for the game.

CovCath rolls over Henderson County

Like his teammates, Logan McDowell needed a boost of confidence after a rough game and a half, and they got it.

Following a whipping at the hands of 2013 Ohio Division I state champion Moeller (39-0) last week, the blue Colonels of Covington Catholic were looking to regain their confidence and get their game back when they hosted the maroon-clad Colonels of Henderson County from western Kentucky Saturday.

It took CovCath (3-1) a while to fully get into gear, but the blue Colonels got there with a 49-28 win over their Class 6A opponents (2-2), who were 9-3 last year including an 18-0 loss to CovCath out west.

Senior quarterback Adam Wagner continued his outstanding season with five touchdown passes, three of them to McDowell.
