Since Station played Highlands to a 1 score the week before this was not a complete shocker. In fact when the game got to 28-0 early on it had an eerie feeling of last years semi-final. Station used their tall fast receivers well like Highlands did last year. The Knight secondary has trouble matching up with talented receivers and a good QB. Andrea Davis was 15-19 in the first half for 171 yards. Longest being 26 yards. Slants and crossing patterns mostly. Knights just could not match-up.

Frank Parks and his staff continue to build Station into a fine program. I have had the chance to talk to the AD there and unlike some other Fayette schools this one seems to be committed to building a top 6A program.

For the Knights the bright spots were junior Jaylen Jones (#24) with another fine running night. And junior Andy Thompson who took over at QB when Ryan went down. Thompson's amazingly cagy runs gave the Knights some life in the second half.

Jaylen Jones (#24), Andy Thompson (#2) and Noah Tubridy (#70) during 41 yard TD run by Thompson in second half.

Congrats to Station...

This team is so explosive and athletic that they are very capable and have the ability to decide how far they want to take their season this yr imo:

Mark down Sweep as a person that thinks this team is going to be in Western KY come Dec.:thumb:

I could see it. They played so well last night, one turnover and no stupid mistakes. They have as much raw talent as anyone in Kentucky, if they have that few mistakes then they'll be a very hard out for anyone.
