Caldwell Co. could be challenging the State record for points scored in a season (849 Highlands 2011) at this pace. 212 thru 3 games....YIKES

Christian County (W) 78-57

Union County.....(W) 62-27

Ohio County......(W) 72-27

Ohio County is running more of a spread attack this year, which may well pay dividends down the road but really hurt them tonight.

There were several series early in the game where Ohio went 3-and-out and took maybe 20 seconds off the clock. That just played into Caldwell's hands, giving Caldwell the ball back quickly and usually with really good field position.

Caldwell set a school record for points in a quarter by leading 44-12 after 12 minutes.

Caldwell's offensive starters were taken out very early in the second quarter but it was still 65-12 at halftime.
