Saint Henry race was this past weekend at Idlewild. Good Showcase of Northern Kentucky talent. Cooper won the boys easily, they should be really strong down state. St. Henry won the girls followed by Simon Kenton. Saint Henry is back to full strength and running strong. Flairty won the girls for Campbell County and looked really strong. Sloppy course and slow times. Saint Henry boys are fighting thorough some injuries and illnesses and lost to Bishop Broshart. Should be a good matchup down state between BB and SH. Teams look pretty even.

 

Boys BB and SH, right? That sounds right. If I recall, track is also a good matchup with Brossart Boys and St Henry boys.

Glad to hear that Crusader girls are on the mend. What are their chances for another state title?

Sorry about that. Yes the BB and SH boys. SH boys beat the BB boys at the Diocese of Covington Championship, and BB boys beat the SH boys at the SH invitational. Very close races. The SH girls seem to be in good shape for State, all are healthy and running great. I think the main team competition will be from Hancock County in 1A. Louisville Presentation has a great #1 runner that should take state individual championship.

State is November 8th at the Horse Park. This weekend is the Lexington Catholic Invitational at the Horse Park, should be a good primer for state. BB boys and SH boys will be there, as well as the SH girls and Hancock County girls. It will be good to see these teams compete on the state course this weekend.
