Mason was 12-1 last year and returned MOST starters this year. Mason is a very solid squad. You play the games on the schedule. What sense does it make for NewCath to schedule all these games if they dont win them? They will be 0-4 heading into Lloyd. NewCath is not very good this year from what I have seen and what I have heard from other people connected to NewCath. Don't be so upset that Newport is better this year.

Caldwell is a little low IMHO

that is true too... and Newport should have won that but the ball seemed to have bounced that other way that night. Mason is still a solid squad without their starting QB

Newport is solid. They are going to win a lot of games this season. They are big and athletic up front to go along with a good QB and 2 nice running backs. Keep playing well and you will rise to the top of the rankings.

It will be more of a two way series between DeSales and CAL. Bardstown will get beat by both of those teams.

 

Maybe so, but the Bardstown folks are really banging the "nobody believes in us" drum. Guess we'll see how it all shakes out.

Would love to see Lloyd in there but they have to prove it. I think if they beat Holmes that it could be a step closer to the top ten. Lets face it NCC will be the big test for Lloyd. Not trying to take anything away from the other teams.
