CovCath Internet Radio brings you the 1st round Ninth Region match up of St. Henry vs Notre Dame Academy live from Holmes High School Thursday night......

Listen to Mark Wehry and Jason Elfers call the game just like you were sitting next to them in the gym, but while you are sitting at home in the comfort of your easy chair. Want to ask them a question, make a comment? Then E-mail them during the game at.....

CovCathiRadio@fuse.net

If you haven't had the chance to listen to Mark and the J-man do the CovCath broadcasts, you have missed a very professional broadcast team doing High School Basketball, and Football games. If you can't make it to the game then listen to the game by clicking on the below link.......

Can we make sure that this thread is kept close to the top of the page cause I definitely want to hear this game especially if these guys are THAT good?

I will post a reminder on Thursday to hopefully keep it on top.... I hope you understand both are unpaid volunteers who do this for CovCath all year long. Personally, I think they are every bit as good as any paid announcers, who I have heard doing High School games on radio throughout the Commonwealth. Now I will admit that they can get at times pro CovCath, but remember they do this for CovCath, but I have heard a whole lot worse from supposedly paid announcers who are suppose to be neutral in High School games. Try it and if you don't like it you can alway turn it off.....:thumb: and unlike the regular high school radio games, there are no commercials to listen to on CovCath Internet Radio.....

They will also of course be doing the CovCath 9th Region games, but that is for a different thread.

This is great. I applaud schools that invest the time and resources to do live internet feeds. It allows alum and fans from all over the world to keep close to their alma mater's and hear the games.

Nice job CovCath! :thumb:

I would hope they are a little biased. Mark has a son that I believe is at Cov Cath (he may not be that old yet), and his daughter was playing for Notre Dame as a freshman this year before going down with a torn ACL.

The one thing that I love about high school broadcasts is that you can tell that the individuals that call games for specific teams are for that team and think every call that goes against them is a bad call. To me, it makes listening to a game much more exciting cause those people can usually paint a good picture of how the game is going.

I must make a clarification on my original post about the St. Henry vs. Notre Dame Academy 1st round Ninth Region game being broadcast live Thursday night from the Holmes High School Gym........

Notre Dame Academy Internet Radio is bringing you this game, thought the efforts of the IBN.IHIGH network, with Mark Whery and Mike Walker doing the game.
