The wheels fell off in the 5th inning for the Lady Stangs. I think they had 6 errors which resulted in a 7 run inning.

It got very ugly!!! Quick!!!

What did you think about the Bourbon Co. pitcher?

She can absolutely throw the heat! I didn't keep track of how many girls she struck out but it was a lot! Brossart absolutely could not hit her and I've never heard a ball hit the catcher's mitt that hard in a softball game. She can also hit the crap out of the ball with a triple in the 7th inning.

The Shackster got a double off of her.

I think Shannon Kremer got a hit off of her also. I haven't been around enough Brossart games to know if the pitcher was that good or if Brossart just wasn't hitting well last night.

Their pitcher was preety good. We just couldnt string 2 or 3 hits together. After the dreaded error 5th inn. we had nothing in the tank.
