The allegations are... pretty substantial. If I'm making that hire, I don't want to be within 10 miles of all that.

I figured Tony Williams would be the guy, but it is the case that he is not a teacher (although he did get his degree in December). He is an extremely hard worker who will put his heart and soul into the job and push the players hard. Probably more of a fit at Doss than at St. Francis, where he currently coaches.

 

It has to have been at least a decade since St. Francis had a .500 record, which is exactly what they got under Tony Williams this year. I think the guy is an outstanding coach and could do great things at Doss. If he comes calling, they ought to FIND a way to get him in the building.

Fair enough. Whatever the case, it's definitely the best record they've had since I've been paying attention, which takes us back about 15 years. Best record ever would not surprise me. That's an insanely small school without a history of basketball. 14-14 was a heck of a season.
