Does the Washington Co school district allow para-professionals to hold head coaching positions?

Looking at the the way things are with their athletic programs they don't really care. They are building a new school with the gym being the only athletic facility.

That's a shame. They had good athletics in the early 2000's.

To be fair, I think they have a pretty nice baseball facility already and a new one isn't really necessary. So a school not building all new facilities doesn't necessarily mean they are anti-sports. But I do get what you are saying Commander.

I'm hearing that girls' coach Bernard Smalley will be taking over the boys' job.

Yes they do but it is owned by the city. If you are going to build a new school it should be the best and have all of the athletic facilities at the school. If they don't have the money then they don't need the school.
