That was the right thing to do for that year -- looked 'different' from the outside, but to us it was a lot of the same stuff we'd always done with (dare I say) 'a tweak' in the backfield. The main thing was it wasn't all 'totally new' to our kids AND it was a good fit for the type of personnel we had.

 

We have quite a bit different athletes/linemen/tight end-types at Ballard than we had there. So while I go back to doing more of what I know best, there'll still be a strong element in designing the 'intricacies' of the system around the types of kids we'll have year-in, year-out.
