nkywildcat68 Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 Carson Williams at the buzzer for the win. Henry wiped out a 12 point deficit after three quarters to force Williams' heroics. Rebels win their third straight 31st District title.
WalterSobchak Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 What was henry doing going into Owen county's huddle? That didn't work out too well!
WalterSobchak Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 2 footer off of a rebound as time expired, ref called a foul, but waved off the foul because there was no time on the clock.
nkywildcat68 Posted March 1, 2014 Author Posted March 1, 2014 I wasnt at the game tonight, got my info like everyone else does...from Facebook. :lol2: Thanks, Walter.
Yo Mama Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 What was henry doing going into Owen county's huddle? That didn't work out too well! Not the first time a Henry County player got into Owen's huddle. Did it at their last game at Henry too. Really can't figure out what that's all about and why the Henry Co. coach allows it.

nkywildcat68 Posted March 1, 2014 Author Posted March 1, 2014 Didnt something like that also happen in the All-A 8th regional Final a few years back? Different coaching staff at Henry then (I think it was Holland)
PP1 Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 When you say "go into huddle" Do you actually mean that a Henry Player went to the Owen bench and listened to Coach Duvall.

Several times when Owen has played Henry this year, after the Henry County team went back on the floor following a time out or end of quarter one of the players joined the Owen County huddle standing directly with the Rebels as if he was one of them. I don't know if his intent was to overhear strategy or to just try to annoy them.
FarBeyondDriven Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 Henry County boys program been doing bush league stuff like this for years.
WalterSobchak Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 I kept wondering why the referees didn't get involved, but when one of Henry's players flew to the floor, the refs openly ripped Henry's player for going over there.
Yo Mama Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 One of Owen's players had enough of it and gently put his hands on the boy to try to get him to back out of the huddle and the Henry player flopped. Was glad the ref didn't fall for it.
