A great back and forth game that was in question till the very last shot. Congrats to both teams and good luck in the regional tournament.

Brossart used a 15-0 run, late third quarter/early fourth quarter to over come a 34-29 deficit, take a 41-34 lead, then saw the lead narrowed to one with 22.7 to play in the game.

 

Scott's Neace, who had 20 points on the night, hit the three to make it a one point ballgame, but Brossart's Abby Stadtmiller hit two free-throws with 15.4 to give the Lady Stangs a 50-47 lead.

 

Jenna Trimpe had a wide open look at a 3 at the buzzer, which missed it's mark, giving Brossart our first distict championship since 2010. Scott his 7 threes on the night, three by Neace. Sarah Futcher hit baskets at the end of the half and the end of the third quarter just ahead of the horn for the Lady Stangs. Congratulations to the Lady Eagles on a well-played game, and best of luck next week in the Fieldhouse.
