Closer than I thought it would be

SW had the ball with about 10 seconds left and down by 2. Turned it over and WC hit a layup as the clock hit .00

I swear they hate me sometimes.

 

Of the three games, it is clear now the 30+ point win by Warren Central in their first matchup was the outlier. The Spartans hit on a good game plan the next two times and appeared to match up very well with the Dragons. Couple of bigs, grabbed a bunch of boards, slowed the game down, and buried an avalanche of threes. The Dragons did not trail after the opening seconds of the third quarter but could never get and stay comfortable. They led by 11 in the first half - 12-0 run by South Warren erased it. They led by 9 in the second half - 7-0 run to get the game back in tight. Just couldn't get them off of them.

 

I don't know how much it affected them to not have played in 8 days, but at least it's out of the way and done now.
