10th region unsung hero players

I try not to toot our (Brossart) own players horns, AND I am appreciative of the luv being shown to Jennings and Rieger, but we are "not where we are today without Spencer Hackworth" very much an unsung hero. That is a direct quote from Coach Mike Code. The Junior is rock solid, has had to help with guard duties, will knock down the 3 with the best of them, will lock you up on defense and can be counted on for 30 minutes a night.

I guess it shows that all five of our starters are integral pieces of what makes us go. True Burns and Trentmen get the ink, but without the supporting cast they wouldn't be where they are, nor would we be where we are without each other including Clay Kramer and Austin Shannon.

I'll cast my vote for us being the unsung hero poster child - lol!!!

Great to hear. This thread is all about the kids that are so important to the success, but as you stated, don't get the ink. Thanks so much for telling us about these players. I hope we hear more from other teams.

Thomas from Montgomery could start for any other team in the 10th. More athletic then perceived.

He's been starting for MC for about 3 weeks now.

A couple of kids we want to add to the list.

Blake Losey of of Campbell Co.

Riley Caudill of GRC.His sophomore year he had a injury mid-season and was out for the rest of the year. Same thing happened his Junior year. This year, as only one of 2 Seniors, he missed the first 6 games with a injury right before the season started. He made All District. I will add him to the top of my "unsung hero list".
