6 Classes for Football...What about other sports??

Featured Replies

I suspect the reason that not all football teams play in the postseason is the nature of the game and a related safety issue ... baseball, basketball and other sports can safely play two or more games in a week. The same can't be said for football.

I have said this from day one, and I'll say it again ... much of the support for five or six classes (and separation of publics and privates, for that matter) is motivated by selfish concerns. Some schools and programs want an easier way to compete and an easier route to success.
