My question is who could have possibly given Holmes a first place vote? - Walter has said in the past that Holmes coaches do not vote their team in the top 10, so who could have given them a first place vote?

 

NCC and CCH have clearly separated themselves from 3rd on back. What does everyone else think?

Definite head-scratcher.

Just an FYI It may say final poll, because it's an outside vendor (SID Stats) that runs it and they accidentally had KY weeks timed with OHIO weeks (it was the final Ohio poll), so one more poll to go.

Only explanation I can think of is that one coach believes the Holmes losses to the two Caths were rope-a-dopes, and that Booher and Listerman will fix the problem areas when the regionals get under way.
