Elizabethtown 77 Bardstown 76

Whale of a good game. B'town held a short lead for most of the game, but extended it to as large as 8 in the fourth quarter. Tigers had a 76-72 lead after a pair of FTs with 22.9 left, but a three by McDonald cut it to one, then a pair of FT misses by B'town set up the Panthers, who got a tip-in from Williams with 3 seconds left to win it.

I'm hoping E-Town's legs are good and dead tomorrow. No ulterior motive of course.

It was a very fast-paced game. E'town had to earn it tonight. All players were sucking wind in the final minutes.

Gotta hit those free throws. At least one of them.

Jim, how many teams have a realistic shot at winning the 5th?

E'Town, Bardstown, & Taylor?

John is in there with the top four. Of the rest, I would say Thomas Nelson can score on anybody and has a puncher's chance if they could play better defense, but they would have to pull at least two major upsets along the way (and survive a district elimination game against Bethlehem on their home floor, the same Eagles team that lit TNHS up for 91 in regulation last Friday).
