...on Ashland's Ross Thompson and Stephen Friley(I apologize if this has already been mentioned). These are two tremendous young men. Excellent athletes in all respects, but even better young men away from sports. It's great to see young people who do the right thing in all aspects of their lives athletically, academically and personally.

Really good article and two great kids.

I had the privilege of coaching one of those kids in Upward one year. We were desparately trying to get a scoring opportunity for one of our players and we instructed him to dribble drive then make a handoff on the block. After several failed attempts, he runs by the bench and says "Hey coach, this whole get it to (insert name) thing isnt working." He was 6 years old and he was right. I will never forget.
