What a ball game in front of a pack house at GRC. The Indians didn't seem to miss many at the line and helped seal the win in OT. Also they made some critical 3's in the 4th to take it to OT. Congrats on the win and should be a battle in the 40th district.

This really was a great ball game yesterday. Runs by both teams kept the gym alive and electric. MoCo looked to have put it away late in the 4th quarter as the Cards came back to take the lead with 9 secs left and have a 1-1. Sandra Skinner hits the first misses the second and MoCo working great through pressure defense managed to get Skylar Tipton in the position for a pass (maybe a loose tip) and score at the last second. It was all MoCo in OT.

 

I think this rivalry win by MoCo says a great deal and will put life back in them, and hopefully remind GRC that they must execute all 32 minutes. This, IMO, shows me that the Girls 10th Region is not a lock. Far from it.

Great game. Nice comeback by GRC late in the fourth with several clutch threes. Definitely one bizarre play by the refs when they signaled out of bounds to GRC and then handed it to Montgomery. Montgomery inbounded and had the ball almost to mid court before the third ref blew his whistle, stopped play and corrected. Congrats to Montgomery on a nice win.

High scoring game for girls. Both teams can fill it up in a short period of time. Agree this past week has shown us on a given night a team can be beat.

MoCo guard Erica Rogers scored 10 points in the OT and led the lady Indians with a game high of 31 points. Paige Taylor and Sydney Anderson paced GRC with 16 point each and Sandra Skinner had 15.Taylor and Anderson both fouled out in OT. CGR trailed 56-49 with 3 minutes to go but drained 3 stright 3's to take the lead in regulatioin but could hold it down the stretch.

That wasnt handled correctly. Once its put in play it is not correctable.
