Good to see the Cards back to winning. Also good to see balanced scoring.

Nice win for the Cards.

Good to see the Cards back to winning. Also good to see balanced scoring.

I sit with a group that is former coaches, teachers and administrators. The comment was made after the end of the first Q that we hoped we could put together a good 2nd Q or at least 3 good quarters. Not bad, could improve, but this WAS a big improvement from former games. King continues to lead the Cards. Jerryd Jones played well on both ends of the court and had 16 points for the Freshman. Green came off the bench and provided some scoring for the Cards.

Was impressed with I believe it was Asher for NL. He is a 6'7 Freshman and will be one to watch.

Another thing I want to share is what the NL coach told his players, "Do you realize you are in a gym and this is a ball game you are supposed to be playing in?" My group and I :lol2:. Well it worked, he put them in the game and they went on a 9-0 run.

Jerryd Jones scored six points during the decisive spurt and finished with 16 points and 12 rebounds. Khamarkis Blanton also had 16 points as four Clark players finished in double figures. Braxton Greene added 10 points.

Damion King led the Cards with 17 points. King scored seven points in the first quarter and led Clark with 10 points in the opening half.

North Laurel, which lost to Jackson County 83-68 on Monday night, never led and played catch up for most of the contest despite rallying from a 11-point deficit in the first half. Clark led 31-26 at the break.

The Jaguars (10-9) trimmed the margin to 42-40 with 3:02 remaining in the third quarter, but Clark closed out the quarter with a 15-1 run and led 57-41 going into the final quarter. Clark scored 26 points in the third quarter that set the tone for the impressive finish.
