Man....its dark in here..Can someone turn on the lights????......Hello........

Boyd Co.62

S.Charleston 69

Owens had 36 points. Worst officiating to date. I know,Iknow.. you just had to be there I guess.

Owens had 36, Boyd battled back after being down 20 in the 3rd.

Then had to play 5 on 8. :irked:

You can never go to Wva and win...Its like beating Ironton at Tank Stadium.....It just dont happen.

I believe Ironton had a recent successful trip into West Virginia :thumb:

on a side note, South Charleston was playing without their best player, Eastern Signee Josh Daniels, out with a collapsed lung

Why would that matter?

It was not that big of a deal when Huntington had a couple of players out last week shooter....... :sssh:

It still doesn't say much for the 16th Region when one of the better teams in the region loses to a pretty good S. Charleston team. Since I came to KY 14 yrs ago I would have consistently said that our area basketball was consistently better than WV basketball as a whole, but over the last 3-4 yrs it would not seem to be the case. The Spring Valley vs Ashland series would come to mind. I know everything is ebb and flow, it just seems that our area has become a bit stagnant- it seems our best players are always from somewhere else.Huntington and Ironton Basketball seem to be thriving, why not 16th Region KY??

Boyd Co. probably would lose 8 out of 10 each time they would play South Charleston without Daniels playing IMO. Very talented team that runs the floor real well. I would have liked to see the Daniels guy play and see what kind of play EKU is getting. He seemed like a gracious person when they honored him for senior night. But the officiating..... did I mention the officiating? Boyd didn't have the better team by any stretch, but the ebb and flow of the bad calls was indirectly proportional to the lead S. Charleston kept. No sour grapes here, S.C. definitely better. Good tune up for Boyd getting ready for districts.

IT DOESNT matter when you have Michael Taylor sitting on the bench to take your place, South Charleston however is not quite that blessed

It all depends on your replacment players are, and South Charleston was not replacing d-1 player with d-1 replacement

got it now? :sssh:

You seem to have a point to make when other teams win

or lose.So how about making a point about Russell losing to
