HIPAA laws prevent me from commenting on this subject :whistling:

 

I applaud you for taking your profession seriously. I mean that sincerely as well.

My guess is that since Dixie has 6 loses they may be overlooked? Henry Clay is the only on on the list with more than 5 loses.

 

I agree. Their 6 losses are pulling them down for sure.

 

Take a closer look at 3 of those losses though:

 

• Campbell County loss was 2nd game of season -- Hatton sat most of 1st due to some kind of team imposed punishment... and he had to come out of the game twice to puke because he was so out of shape at that time (remember he had only been practicing about a week before this game, was out an extended period of time because of his back surgery... not to mention his shot wasn't exactly where it is right now)

• Dupont Manual game saw Hatton leave in the 2nd qtr and not return to the game and Rabe leave at the start of the 3rd qtr and not return because of the flu bug. Matt Isbel did not dress for the game at all... he came down with it first. Manual only beat Dixie by 3 that game. I say its a different outcome if Dixie is at full strength.

• PRP game was a forfeit due to the flu bug running through the team

 

The other 3 losses came at the hands of:

• NCC on their home court... they killed Dixie that first game... no contest (but NCC also killed PRP in the LexCath tourney... when they are on they are capable of running it up on ANYONE)

• Holmes on their home court by 8. Dixie did lead in the 4th, but some kid named Beetle turned it on in the 4th qtr and said, "NOT IN MY HOUSE!"

• Knott Central County on a neutral court by 2... Dixie was up 1 with less than a minute to go. Dixie coach finished the game with 2 TOs in his pocket... there were 2 key plays down the stretch that BEGGED for him to call a TO

 

I don't mind folks sleeping on Dixie... in fact, I like it
