January 24, 201412 yr I wouldn't let my son(if I had one) play for the Bengals. NFL, exclusive of the Bengals, maybe; Bengals NO. That is, until Marvin is G-O-N-E ! Seriously, though, I love the Bengals, but I have been WAY over Marvin for years now. Just terrible!
January 24, 201412 yr Author Studies disagree. Concussions are most common in football. Soccer is second. Studies also say no matter what helmet you wear it dont matter. Also that shock proof mouthpieces that are suppoed to stop concussions dont work. It jsut depends on what study you want to believe. Some say McDonalds fries are better than Wendys.
January 24, 201412 yr My son is 4 (will be 5 in March). He loves to watch football and pretend like he's playing. That said I'm still not sure what I will do if he wants to play when he is old enough. I tend to lean towards no.
January 24, 201412 yr Not an issue, just something to make fun of. My son will play football, less chance he gets hurt doing that than driving a car. Let him play soccer so he can get kicked in throat and die, no thanks. Let him play basketball so he can get undercut and hit head on hard wood floor. No thanks Let him bass fish so he can drown, no thanks. Let him run track so he can have heart attack, no thanks. Let him play baseball so he can get hit by 90mph fastball in head, no thanks. Let him play volleyball, he ain't a transgender so no way that happens. Let him be on academic team so he can get migraines and sprain his thumb, no thanks. Everything we do has risk, even going to work, ask the people at the WTC that went on 9-11 I'm really not sure how to respond to some of these.
