How many did Ownes have in this game? Could the low shooting percentage be from just missing? I was at this game and Owens could not throw one in the river this game. Thomas is a great defender, but I dont think he is tops in the region.I think Cannoy is just as good of a defender as Thomas.IMO

Owens is always going to get his share of points with as many shots as he takes a game. Think about it, the first BC - Ashland game Ashland played zone and Owens shot the lights out. In the second game Thomas was on him man to man and he struggled to get open looks therefore missing alot of them. Cannoy is also a good defender, one of the best on Ashland's team. He is a true scrapper too, kind of like Shannon of Boyd.

Very true....but alot of the shots Owens was missing there was no one with 5 feet of him. Very poor shooting night....Thomas is a great defender, but IMO owens was just off that night. In fact the whole team was off.....on a fishing trip I think, or maybe they were snipe hunting...LOL

Observer, was there a foul called, or an injury timeout? Did they stop play because Gillium was dizzy and couldn't walk straight. I don't think so. I'm not saying that there wasn't an incidental headbutt, but to say that that was the reason for his 3FG is just crazy. I know one of those kids better than you or anybody else and I know IF THERE WAS a headbutt that it was incidental and unintentional. But give credit where credit is due, it wasn't a headbutt. It was Kasey " all up in his grill" Goodnight!!!!

I think that Morgan County has the two best on the ball defenders in Devan Adkins and Derrick Young.

Kasey Clark was the best defender in the 16th region and would still be if wouldnt have been run off
