PRP's LaMontray Harris grabs a basket and one.

Trinity leads 18-17; 3:40 to play in the half.

Trinity and PRP's big men trade baskets

20-19 Shamrock lead.

PRP again holds up the ball for the full last minute of the quarter but the shot fails to fall.

Trinity leads 22-19 at the half.

1st team to 40 wins. :lol2:

PRP has the overall size advantage in the front court but Spalding is a formidable defender in the lane. He's been effective at disrupting most of what PRP would like to do down low.

1st team to 40 wins. :lol2:

Again.

Szabo's style will do that. It's extremely demanding on the defensive end and -- when it's working -- very deliberate on offense.

Two quick baskets by Tre Ivory to start the second half and Trinity leads 27-19.

Nice look by Glass to find Harris open down low to pull one back for PRP.

But Trinity follows it up with a Levitch three on the other end.

30-21 Trinity; 5:40 remaining in the third.

Again PRP's Harris gets one back only to have Trinity (Ivory this time) answer with a three.

33-23 Trinity.

Trinity's Owens drives from the corner to get a basket and makes the foul shot.

38-25 Trinity with 2:24 to play in the third.

Trinity's put the press on more here in the second half and it's resulted in a couple turnovers.

Owens puts in a layup in the middle of some traffic. Then after a PRP miss, Schmitt gets another 3 for the Shamroxks.

Trinity's lead stretched to 43-27 with 30 seconds left in the third.

Then Schmitt gets a steal and finds Spalding streaking to the basket for a two-handed slam.

PRP then misses a chance to tighten it; miss a three at the buzzer.

45-27 at the end of three quarters.

I'll give an update just because I feel like I should...

Neither team has scored in the first two minutes of the final quarter.

Harris ends the drought for PRP.

45-29 with 5 minutes to play.

Ivory to the line for Trinity.

Trinity now playing even more deliberate than usual on offense. Basically running clock. This possession ends in free throws for Trinity.

Knight-Goff makes 1-2; Trinity leads 48-29 with under four to play.
