PRP's front court is huge: Hunter is 6'7", Harris 6'7", Glass 6'4". Getting every rebound early.

 

Nonetheless, 4-4 tie two minutes in.

Big block by Harris for PRP but Panthers then send Risdale to the line.

 

Just like that Henry Clay leads 13-12.

 

Don't know how many layups PRP has missed, but I need a second set of fingers to keep counting them.

End of the first; PRP leads 19-17. Lots of strange shots by PRP. Missing some easy ones around the rim early, Hunter decided to back it out and missed his last two shots of the quarter, both from out on the perimeter. Coach Mabrey did not sound thrilled by this change to the offensive game plan.

PRP keeps missing shots right up at the rim. It's allowed Henry Clay to keep the game tied by only making free throws.

Henry Clay held the ball up for the last 50 seconds of the half but Green failed to connect on the final shot.

A couple observations at the half:

 

Jordan Green... wow. All over the floor and really made big buckets.

 

PRP has a massive size advantage and they're simply not taking advantage. Lots of missed layups. Hunter needs to do better than 4 points. I don't know whether it's a lack of concentration or what but PRP can't keep missing shots from two feet away.

 

Sat right by the Henry Clay moms apparently. Fun group. I do love that no matter where you are, what team you're watching or what the score is... no mother's son has ever committed a foul.

Raheem and McDaniels each grab a steal and a runaway layup as PRP nabs an early cushion: 42-36 with 5:58 to play in the third.
